College Drinking Research Project for MKT 2197 Supported by the Villanova Advertising Society Overview The students of MKT 2197 are working on a variety of research projects focused on the causes and cures of excessive drinking on college campuses. The ultimate goal of this research is develop a plan to combat alcohol abuse among college students for presentation to The Century Council (www.centurycouncil.org), a national, not-for-profit organization that develops and implements programs and policies to fight drunk driving and stop underage drinking. Update: Thanks for Sharing Your Opinions The students are now hard at work analyzing the insights you provided and preparing their recommendations. In the spring, as these recommendation are incorporated into a concrete plan for combating the binge drinking problem, you’ll undoubtedly be hearing more about these efforts. In the meantime, thank you again for sharing your time and your opinions on this critical health issue. Your views will play a major role in shaping our plans, as we attempt to make a meaningful contribution towards solving this problem. For questions, comments, and suggestions about this project, you are welcome to contact Professor Bill Madway at william.madway@villanova.edu. |
