Students Celebrates
End of the Spring 2005
Semester with Dinner at
Lourdas Taverna
On
May 5, several members from the
Villanova Hellenic Club dined at
Lourdas Greek Taverna located in
Bryn Mawr. In addition to
feasting on Greek delights such as
souvlaki, saganaki, kalamari and
baklava, it was a time to celebrate
the end of the Spring 2005 semester.

Greek Dance at Haverford a
Success
The Villanova Hellenic Cultural Club
attended "My Big Fat
Greek Dance II," a Hellenic Dance at Haverford College on April 8.
Following the success of a similar dance at Bryn Mawr in Fall, 2004, our
Spring event featured Greek food, music and great dancing.

Welcome Back! and
Philoxenia
The Villanova Hellenic Cultural Club is back after a
seven-year dormancy, providing an social and spiritual outlet for
students of Greek descent. We are planning exciting
events for the upcoming year and welcome your membership |

For 2005-2006, we hope to have a myriad of
social, cultural and spiritual events.
We plan to host a Hellenic Dance (similar to
those at Bryn Mawr College and Haverford
College), as well as perform various
outreach activities with St. Luke Greek
Orthodox Church.
Tentatively, as a club, we plan to volunteer
at St. Luke Greek Festival in September.
