Villanova Japanese Club

 

              About Us            

The Japanese Club is an organization that functions to promote interests, understanding and knowledge through the exposure, awareness and participation in many aspects of the Japanese language, culture, society and people through various activities with Japanese students, guest speakers from Japan as well as Villanova graduates who went to Japan.

There are various activities involving the students such as Exchange gatherings with Japanese university students, visiting Japanese Corporation, Philadelphia Museum of Arts, the Japanese Tea House & Garden, Watching Japanese movies, dining out at Japanese Restaurants, making sushi party, participating Tea Ceremony, Japanese Arts and Crafts: origami and calligraphy, Acupressure practice, etc.

The Villanova Alumni in Japan has established in 1977 and there are about 30 members who enjoy getting together and sharing their experiences in Japan.
